Run Windows Update (and other pages that need IE) in Firefox! January 1, 2006

Thanks to a new invention by PCMan (Hong Jen Yee), this extension let’s you choose the engine to use (gecko or IE) for a webpage, much like Netscape does. One great use of this is the ability to run Mircosoft Update in Firefox:

Sure, it’s available in wordpress.com’s vide array of themes, it’s called “Regulus”.

I was using the IE view extension but when I accidentally clicked, “always view this page using IE view”, I was screwed. I had to delete the extension to correct the problem and when I re-installed it the setting I made mistakenly remained. Any thoughts on how to correct the problem?
