Canadian ISP is throttling Bittorrent traffic March 1, 2006
Posted by Robin in : Uncategorized , trackback“The Canadian ISP ‘ROGERS’ (one of the country’s largest) has started to kill all bittorrent traffic on their network, and even some P2P apps. Looks like it’s time to change to rival BELL.

But really though, they shouldn’t care what people do with their bandwidth, we are paying for it. Thankfuly I’m not with rogers, and thanks to this, never intend to be.

Topic though… crazy bandwidth throttlers… we pay for our internet, we want to make the most of it! They need to catch up to the consumers technologically instead of holding them back. Fibre anyone?
i am going to qite Rogers…and start renting movies from them.
